TechnoStar Greece is looking for a Junior Professional to work on the development of its Finite Element Analysis solvers in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Description
As part of the Computational Mechanical Engineering team, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of our computational modules, including structural analysis and heat transfer, with a focus on nonlinear phenomena. The developed modules will be tested and integrated into TechnoStar’s software ecosystem. The goals of the offered employment are:
- Research and advancement of Computational Mechanical Engineering simulations.
- Design, implementation and validation of algorithms for our solver and its modules.
- Support the software development life cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Graduate
- Understanding of Finite Element Analysis
- Knowledge of C/C++
Optional Skills
- Knowledge of Numerical Methods (e.g. Newton – Raphson, Numerical Integration) is a plus
- Knowledge of versioning control systems (e.g. git) is a plus
- Knowledge of database management tools (e.g. SQLite) is a plus
Qualitative Skills
- Good knowledge of English
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills
