We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced English Language Instructor to join our team for the upcoming academic year.
Role description:
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of different ages and proficiency levels. Lessons should be communicative, student-centred, and designed to help learners develop both accuracy and confidence in English.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons using communicative and learner-centred methods.
- Prepare creative teaching materials, including activities based on STEAM projects, literature, and drama.
- Support students’ language development across grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues on teaching strategies and school activities.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom performance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and other educational activities.
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English as a foreign language.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Experience teaching learners of different ages and proficiency levels.
- Ability to design, adapt, and deliver lessons according to learning objectives and exam requirements.
- Solid understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language-learning principles.
- Relevant teaching certification, such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA, is preferred.
- A degree in English is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intercultural sensitivity and a supportive approach to students.
- Willingness to use educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development.
