The TETHYS network of Mediterranean Universities, of which AUTh is a member, invites doctoral candidates to a three-day workshop to be held at UAM Madrid University in Spain from May 22nd to 24th, 2024.
The deadline for submission of participation applications by interested parties is March 17th, 2024, while information on how to submit the application is available in the attached file.
There is the possibility of scholarships being awarded (covering travel, accommodation, and some meals) for a few candidates.

Nous sommes heureux de vous envoyer un appel à candidatures pour vos étudiants en doctorat pour un Atelier doctoral de 3 jours à Madrid dans le cadre de l’Assemblée Générale Téthys.
Le sujet est le changement climatique selon une approche interdisciplinaire. La présentation des différentes thématiques, le calendrier ainsi que les modalités de sélection se trouvent dans le document joint.
Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait qu’un nombre limité de bourses d’études sont disponibles pour des doctorants des universités membres du réseau Téthys. Les bourses d’études couvrent les frais de voyage, l’hébergement et certains repas partagés.
Nous invitons également nos partenaires à financer sur leurs propres ressources la participation de doctorants de leur université à cet atelier doctoral. Des places d’hébergement à tarif préférentiel (70€/nuit) sont réservées via l’Université Autonome de Madrid.

We are delighted to send you a call for applications for your PhD students for a 3-day Doctoral Workshop in Madrid as part of the Téthys General Assembly.
The subject is climate change from an interdisciplinary approach. The presentation of the thematics, the schedule and the selection process for PhD students are described in the attached document.
A limited number of scholarships for PhD students from Téthys member universities. The scholarships cover travel costs, accommodation and some shared meals.
We also invite our partners to finance the participation of PhD students from their own universities to this workshop.
Accommodation at preferential rate (70€/night) is booked through the Autonomous University of Madrid.
