Headquartered in Thessaloniki, SEleNe-CC is one of the five Regional Coordination Centers (RCCs) across Europe and plays a pivotal role in supporting power transmission system operators (TSOs). Our dedicated team provides integrated services to ensure the operational security of networks across Southeast Europe (SEE).

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Development of new products/tools and services, aiming to ensure power system stability, reliability, and the optimal operation of the electrical grid
• Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective solutions
• Contributing to the procurement of new software tools, the definition of the relevant requirements, participation in the assessment of offers and vendors’ selection
• Communication with the Transmission System Operators of the region and other Regional Coordination Centers in Europe to identify future operational needs and to develop on time the required tools
• Identification of future development needs in line with the relevant European and Regional obligations

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with special focus on power system analysis. A master (or a PhD) degree is highly appreciated but not mandatory
• Ability to conduct engineering studies, such as power flow studies, contingency analysis, optimal power flow
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome challenges with initiative
• Experience in an Electrical Engineering role within the power systems field
• Familiarity with power systems analysis software, such as DIgSILENT Power Factory, is a plus
• Background in optimization techniques is a plus, but not essential
• Programming skills (Python, Java, MATLAB) are desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (all communications within and outside of the company will be in the English language)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (365)
