  • Περιγραφή Μεταπτυχιακού:

    The postgraduate Programme in “ Forensic Medicine, Anthropology and Imaging” is a 1,5-year long program that aims to offer multidisciplinary training and promotion of knowledge and skills at an advanced level in different areas of Forensic Medicine, namely Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Imaging.
    Candidates can have variable and not necessarily medical background and a strong desire to invade the world of forensics.
    More specifically the programme will offer basic knowledge in musculoskeletal and cross-sectional CT anatomy, will introduce candidates to Forensic Medicine in terms of scope, methodology and legal framework and will facilitate specialized training in the areas of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Imaging.

    All training aspects of the course will take place at the Medical School of the University of Crete allowing successful candidates to enjoy while studying the unique island of Crete. The first two Semesters will require the physical presence of the students while research projects for the completion of the dissertation can take place anywhere in the world allowing participants to link to our international forensic network.

    The programme also  offers the opportunity of exiting with a specialisation in Forensic Anthropology or Forensic Imaging.

    Graduates of Medicine, Biology, Anatomy, Anthropology, Archaeology, Radiography, Forensic Sciences, Police Academy, Law School are welcomed to apply. Previous knowledge on human biology/anatomy although it would be helpful is not obligatory as the program provides the necessary background to candidates before their training in specialised modules .
