Operations Engineers (Power Systems) Job description and Responsibilities: • Carry out tasks related to the electricity grid of a European region and specifically, the creation of grid models, security analysis, inter-zonal capacity calculations, adequacy forecasts and outage coordination, by following daily processes and using provided tools. • Communication in English with the Transmission System Operators of the region and other Regional Centres in Europe. Required Qualifications/Skills: • A University degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Power Systems analysis. • Experience in a similar role as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager would be desirable, but not essential • Fluency in the English language. • A postgraduate degree will be highly appreciated • Team player and trustworthy • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite The work will be carried out in shifts as the company will operate 365 days/24 hours. IT Systems administration and support Job description and responsibilities • IT support for operation engineers performing their daily tasks • Perform maintenance on servers and networking devices • Implement information security plans and enforce them. • Manage Windows Active directory and O365 E5 services • Monitor infrastructure and perform site reliability tasks. Required Qualifications/Skills: • Good knowledge of a scripting language. • Good TCP/IP and networking knowledge. • A University degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or computer science with emphasis on Information Systems . • Fluency in the English language. • Ability to work independently and complete projects • Team player and trustworthy • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Knowledge of *nix systems • Knowledge of Vmware or any virtualization technology desirable
