Linux Systems Administrator
Are you proficient in the operation of complex Linux environments? Do you embrace modern configuration management systems like puppet, ansible or similar and live for automation?
noris has the job for you! We are building a new Tech Team in Thessaloniki and are looking for talented IT Systems Engineers to join our team.
Responsibilities:

Administration and configuration of Linux systems
Perform system maintenance
Operation, development and deployment of highly-available, IT systems and cloud platforms
Planning and implementation of standard changes according to ITIL
Automation of repetitive tasks and identification of the potential of improvement
Resolve configuration-related problems
Write documentation for custom tools

Must have skills:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or other related field or significant professional experience on IT
Several years of experience with Linux servers and in-depth knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, Firewalls)
Experience with configuration & deployment of Linux-services (e.g. Webserver, Databases)
Experience in Bash/Shell scripting
Expert knowledge of configuration management and automation tools (e.g. ansible, puppet and foreman)
Very strong analytical skills to identify problems root cause
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have skills:

Experience using Docker and Kubernetes would be an asset
Knowledge of German would be an asset
