Description
The Mutual Assistance Fund of the Employees Union of the Bank of Greece (a Non-Profit Private Law Legal Entity), hereinafter “M.A.F.E.U.B.G.”, through the company LMW HR Group, needs to hire, following a selection process, one (1) psychologist to meet the needs of its polyclinics in Athens.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1.Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychology from a Higher Educational Institution (AEI) in Greece, or an equivalent or comparable degree from a foreign institution, recognized by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Center (DOATAP).
- Professional license to practice as a psychologist.
- Very good knowledge of the English language (minimum level B2), to be duly proven.
- ECDL certificate for computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and internet services, proven by:
- Information Technology certificates or computer handling certificates issued by bodies accredited by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) or from the EOPPEP itself;
- Academic titles (Bachelor’s or Master’s) demonstrating the completion of at least four courses in Information Technology or computer handling.
- Relevant insured work experience of at least two (2) years after obtaining the degree.
The above qualifications must be met at the latest by the deadline for submission of applications.
2. Desirable Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Psychology from a recognized Higher Educational Institution (AEI) in Greece or abroad, equivalent to or comparable to the Greek system, recognized by DOATAP.
- Participation in seminars related to the specialty of Psychology.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Candidates can participate if they meet the following conditions:
- They must be Greek citizens or citizens of a European Union member state.
- They must not have any disqualification under Article 8 of the Civil Servants Code: (a) they have not been convicted of a felony or any crime related to theft, embezzlement (whether general or in service), fraud, extortion, forgery, bribery, oppression, breach of duty (repeated offense), defamation, or any crime against sexual freedom or the economic exploitation of sexual life; (b) they are not defendants in a trial, nor have they been referred for trial on a felony or misdemeanor, even if the crime has been statute-barred; (c) they have not been deprived of their civil rights due to a conviction and, for as long as this deprivation lasts, they are not under judicial guardianship.
- Male candidates must have fulfilled their military obligations or be legally exempt from them. Non-Greek male candidates must provide a certificate from an EU member state equivalent to the Greek military service status certificate type A or a certificate confirming that they are not subject to military service obligations or that they have been legally exempted.
Exception: No military service obligations are required for citizens of EU member states where such obligations are not enforced.
APPLICATION PROCESS – SELECTION PROCEDURE – REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Candidates:
- Must submit their CV exclusively online from January 13, 2025, to January 31, 2025, until 23:59.
- Are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information and the correct completion of their application, which serves as a Declaration of Responsibility.
Applications submitted before the publication of this announcement or those submitted late will not be considered.
The final selection will be made by M.A.F.E.U.B.G., which, during the preliminary phase of the process, will cooperate with LMW HR GROUP.
Candidates who are shortlisted will be asked to send the following documents in electronic format for verification:
- Copies of all academic degrees and, in the case of foreign degrees, official translations into Greek.
- Recognition certificates from DOATAP for holders of foreign degrees.
- Social security certificates to prove work experience.
After the relevant verification, candidates who submit complete documents will be invited to an interview, where their qualifications, abilities, additional skills, work experience, and overall profile and personality will be assessed.
It is clarified that M.A.F.E.U.B.G. reserves the right to assess the health status of selected candidates through medical professionals of its choice.
It is emphasized that M.A.F.E.U.B.G. and LMW HR GROUP will process the submitted data solely for the purpose of selecting candidates for the positions in question and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These data will never be shared, disclosed, or communicated to third parties.
M.A.F.E.U.B.G. reserves the right to cancel the competition, not select any candidates, and, at its discretion, repeat the process. In such cases, candidates will have no claim against M.A.F.E.U.B.G.

APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION
This announcement is governed by Greek law.
For any disputes that may arise from this announcement and the contracts that will be concluded under it, the courts of Athens will have exclusive jurisdiction.
