Information for employers

Career Services Office collaboration with employers

The AUTh Career Services Office constitutes a link between the academic community and the workforce. In this respect, it serves as a liaison between two users of its services: students/graduates and employers, in both the public and private sector.

The AUTh Career Services Office works closely with all relevant bodies and offers them the opportunity to:

  • learn about the skills and qualifications of AUTh graduates,
  • present company profiles and activities on its website and through presentations to interested students/graduates,
  • inform the CSO about employment opportunities for new scientists, either with regard to internships or job openings,
  • have access to CVs from the alumni database (those who wish to submit their CVs to the CSO),
  • participate in Career Days organized by the CSO and select qualified individuals for their company through personal interviews,
  • participate as mentors, in guiding and supporting new graduates to navigate the transition following their studies.

If you are an employer wishing to post job openings or internships, traineeships, graduate programmes, you can register on our website HERE. Your request for registration will be processed immediately and, provided that the requirements of the CSO Code of Conduct are met, you will receive a message of approval.

After creating your account, you will be able to:

  • view your company profile on our website,
  • post job openings directly through your account,
  • search for graduate CVs,
  • be connected with all AUTh CSO activities.

Send us the job listings and we will contact our university students and graduates to inform them through our services, by:

  1. posting listings on our website in the section Job Openings,
  2. sending newsletters to their personal e-mails,
  3. posting on our social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn).

*If you wish to employ students for an internship through the NSRF programme, please contact the AUTh Internship Office.

Once you register as a partner company and your request has been approved, you can search for potential employees in the AUTh graduate CV database, filtering the results according to your desired criteria (e.g. by School, qualifications, foreign languages, work experience, etc.).

The personal data protection legislation on the use and retention of CVs is provided here.

You can visit the university campus and make a presentation about your company or institution, your professional activity and the employment prospects for graduates, in order to inform newcomers to the job market and adequately prepare them with regard to the next steps in their professional career.

Every year, in May, the AUTh Career Services Office organizes a Career Day where you have the opportunity to meet final-year students, graduates, as well as new AUTh researchers in a specially arranged conference room in order to obtain CVs, conduct personal interviews, and discuss employment prospects in your company.

You can be part of the network of consultants – professionals (mentors) in order to provide useful information and advice to students and graduates with regard to the job market.
