RAYCAP SA_ Application Engineer in Athens

Scope

Designs & develops systems for power distribution and control of new and existing products. Assists in the production of all necessary product documentation as well as the preparation of technical offers.

Responsibilities

The Engineer has the following responsibilities:

• Design and development of new products (electrical and electronic circuit drawings, PCB design, BOM definition, samples preparation, samples testing, documentation preparation, certifications, etc.)
• Preparation of technical offers and contribution to cost analysis of proposed products/service solutions
• Site surveys to customer premises to define the optimum product/service solutions
• Technical support to sales team, preparation of technical presentations
• Support to customers related to the product operation
• Travel on average 30% of the working time

Minimum qualification requirements

• Bachelor in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Polytechnic School).
• Technical experience in low voltage distribution, electronics and microcontrollers.
• Experience in product management and or technical offers preparation.
• Experience in electrical schematic design tools (EPLAN electric, SolidWorks electrical, AutoCAD electrical, or other equivalent) and electronic design (Altium or other equivalent) is considered an asset.
• Computer skills in MS Office.
• Knowledge of microcontroller programming (C/C++).
