We are one of the leading providers of Advisory related services in Greece. The Outsourcing team of PwC Greece is the leading provider of Accounting, Payroll & HR solutions in Greece, assisting organisations to get value from our outsourcing experience and bring together the skills to deliver improvements in people, processes, and technology. With a team of approximately two hundred professionals, we aim to provide holistic solutions to our clients supporting them in confronting the challenging and constantly changing environment in Greece.
In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Associate to join our Accounting Outsourcing team in Thessaloniki.
Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team
- Manage Accounting, Finance and Tax Compliance Outsourcing activities for clients and support overall accounting monitoring processes
- Participate in the preparation and review of the statutory financial statements under Greek GaaP and IFRS
- Participate in the preparation and review of various corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc.)
- Have responsibility of the bookkeeping and the financial reporting to clients’ management
- Support clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements along with other team members
What we are looking for
- One (1) to three (3) years of professional experience in a relevant role
- Previous experience in a relevant role at a consulting firm will be considered an asset
- Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign top-tier university
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and fluently both in Greek and English
- Strong knowledge of Tax and Accounting legislation; participation in Long Term Accounting and Tax seminars will be considered an asset
- Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters
- Sound knowledge of Greek GAAP ; Experience in IFRS will be evaluated positively
- Confidence, positive attitude and commitment in providing excellent quality work and building strong client relationships
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality with a strong sense of responsibility
